The customer’s integration relied heavily on SAP Ariba ITK, an on-premise Java-based application nearing end-of-support in December 2023. This dependency posed significant security and stability risks. Furthermore, the existing integration landscape needed modernization to support the company’s long-term strategic goal of migrating to SAP S/4HANA and transitioning to a cloud-based environment. A robust error handling and alerting framework was also lacking, hindering proactive issue resolution. The challenge was to migrate from SAP Ariba ITK to SAP Integration Suite and from PI/PO to SAP Integration Suite, ensuring seamless integration and improved operational efficiency.Â
