Our customer is an American Fortune 500 company and one of the largest manufacturers of medium and heavy-duty commercial vehicles in the world. In addition to designing and manufacturing advanced diesel engines, the company provides financial services, information technology solutions, and distributes truck parts related to its principal business. 

Managing an extensive global supply chain posed significant challenges. The absence of a centralized process, lack of visibility on carrier routes, and reliance on manual customs management via email led to inefficiencies and high operational costs. To overcome these challenges, the company partnered with Incture to drive digital transformation in their supply chain operations.

A Unified Supplier Portal for Seamless Collaboration 

Incture introduced a Unified Supplier Portal powered by SAP Cloud Platform, designed to enable real-time collaboration between suppliers and the company’s internal teams. By integrating seamlessly with SAP Transportation Management (TM) and Global Trade Services (GTS) systems, the portal facilitated end-to-end logistics management, covering cross-dock shipments, freight forwarders coordination, part packaging, and return shipments. It also ensured compliance with Global Trade Agreements (GTA) and enhanced supplier collaboration through an interactive forum. Real-time dashboards provided insights into supplier logistics performance, optimizing transportation routes and reducing operational costs. With this solution, the company successfully streamlined its supply chain operations, enabling greater efficiency and cost savings.
