Our customer is a global independent oil and natural gas exploration, and production company headquartered in Houston, Texas. Operating in a highly complex and regulated industry, they manage an extensive portfolio of applications, APIs, systems, and interfaces critical to exploration, production, and business operations.

The company faced mounting challenges due to a fragmented integration landscape, high maintenance costs, and inefficiencies in governance and monitoring. To address these, they partnered with Incture to streamline operations, consolidate platforms, and enable a modern, cloud-based integration strategy.

With over 50 applications, 250 APIs, 45 systems, and 400 interfaces, the customer’s IT ecosystem had become increasingly complex and difficult to manage. Multiple integration platforms, including MuleSoft and Boomi, added layers of maintenance, licensing, and governance overhead. Without standardized approaches, scaling operations was more challenging, and exceptions or integration issues took longer to resolve. These factors contributed to higher operating costs and made it harder to adapt quickly to changing business requirements.
